I recently extended El Rancho‘s live booking activities by adding Glasgow’s psych dream weavers Tomorrow Syndicate and North London’s British songwriting saviours The Roves into the agency roster. They’ll be joining a strong line up of LYLO, Savage Mansion, and Sweaty Palms. Expect more news on shows and tours by these artists.

This year we’re so excited to be teaming up with Pity Party Film Club to screen the Scottish premier of ‘Waiting – The Van Duren Story’. The film is the story of a Memphis musician (Van Duren) who was tipped to be the new Paul McCartney but instead faded into obscurity. Sorta like ‘Searching For Sugarman’ for fans of power-pop!

Glasgow’s finest make a rare appearance this summer at the Playground festival this weekend at Rouken Glen Park. The festival which features Lauren Hill, Groove Armada and Hot Chip headlining is the first in the Southside and we’re looking forward to it immensely!
